Noisestash: Zendure, a tough battery that will keep your mobile devices juiced!

Zendure MacBook Pro
One of the biggest problems plaguing the first world is dead cellphone batteries. Nothing is worse than being out for a night on the town and seeing that low battery warning. Now you’ve gotta hunt down an outlet, and that’s assuming you even have your charger with you. Otherwise you’re stuck with a useless phone and nobody wants that.

Thankfully, external battery packs are a thing that exists. I even reviewed one for my iPhone a few years ago. They’re pretty useful for getting yourself out of a jam, but what if… you got run over by a car? Wouldn’t you want a battery that could stand up to those kind of rigors? One year later, Apple still headed wrong way with Maps

After a weekend of record breaking sales on their latest iPhone offering (again), Apple got an unfortunate report published by FastCompany. A year after Apple nixed Google’s Maps for their own in-house map application, Apple still seems to be giving some really bad directions to their customers. The latest report of erroneous directions comes from Alaska’s Fairbanks International Airport. According to the report from the Alaska Dispatch, Apple’s … Continue reading One year later, Apple still headed wrong way with Maps

Noisestash: Three apps that help organize my life

Over the last few months I’ve found myself completely overwhelmed by the rigors of managing two websites, freelance work, and carving out personal time to deal with the important things. Up until recently I scoffed at the idea of using to-do lists and apps for keeping it all together – possibly out of some misguide pride on my part. After trying to keep it all … Continue reading Noisestash: Three apps that help organize my life

It finally happened, the iPhone goes Magenta

Today T-Mobile got their fowl-mouthed CEO on stage and they hoped he would bring the heat. Though I’m not exactly sure if it constitutes bringing that aforementioned “heat,” but T-Mobile has officially announced when you might be able to officially get an iPhone on America’s 4th carrier. T-Mobile is betting you’d be willing to pay full-price for a little slab of Apple or at least … Continue reading It finally happened, the iPhone goes Magenta

T-Mobile: Will becoming the “un-carrier” be enough to bring in new customers

Let’s clear the air here; we hate being tied down to our cellular blood contracts. It’s nothing more than a practice to keep us locked into a carrier with the temptation of a new piece of hardware every couple of years. Sure, on the surface it seems like you get this year’s top-of-the-line phone at steal (usually around $200-250) but then we’re tied to a … Continue reading T-Mobile: Will becoming the “un-carrier” be enough to bring in new customers

Instagram goes browser – the final velvet rope lifted

Back when Instagram first popped onto the scene, they invited everyone to take pictures of their everyday meanderings and share. All were welcomed as long as you had an iPhone. It was at once an internet status symbol and the ire of those who weren’t “cool enough” to party with digital photo filters. Instagram has since added an Android app (we’ve all but lost hope … Continue reading Instagram goes browser – the final velvet rope lifted
