Google Enables Self Defense in Android Phones

Google has begun remotely removing trojan-like apps from Android phones to protect users against malicious apps. Up to 200,000 users may have downloaded the apps, which were labeled as innocuous apps or as adult apps. The apps collected personal information and exploited security holes in Android. Google has released a mandatory security update to patch the hole.
