After pissing off the entire free world, Groupon decides to move their successful business plan to China, the one market that liked their Super Bowl Commercial. According to CNet, Groupon is looking to move their ideas of mass purchased online coupons for IRL goods to the land of the Great Wall.
The speculation comes from the purchase of gaopeng.com by Tencent, a known investor in Groupon, who has a major interest in seeing Groupon succeed in Asia. This interest is due to the fact that they’re an Asian company, and they gave money to Groupon.
