Noisedraft: Turn your name into a symbol

Welcome to another weekly episode of the NoiseDraft, a completely made up mock draft for your reading pleasure. Each week the topic changes and each week the selection order changes. Feel free to continue the draft in the comments below! Just remember, once something has been chosen, you can’t choose it again!

Since our readers are busy Photoshopping away a custom 404 page for The Noisecast, we decided that the Noisecrew could also get into the spirit of drawing things this week as well. So we asked people to take their names and convert them into symbols a la Prince. The only requirement was MS Paint but that set the bar too high for resident Photoshop expert Ron Cassel. He failed to make an entry. Way to show team spirit on a subject you’re supposedly an expert on, Ron.

1. Agrippa

What? I am a symbol, beyotch.

Alternatively, one would require true enlightenment to understand this:

2. Kevlar

This one is difficult. So I made this up:

Otherwise, Kaiser nailed this one:

3. Marian

I used my pre-wedding initials. (Is that cheating?) Double Ms just look kinda awesome together.

And since everyone here has 2!!… I can’t really draw Miss Mari Mac all dressed in black black black, but I think Maid Marian would be a nice alternative:

4. Ray

I don’t give a shit about symbols, so I drew how I podcast:

5. Vitto

I was going for something that would invoke a big city skyline. Something that would symbolize that big things were coming soon. Nailed it.

6. Steven

Duh.

  1. I’m declaring my self the winner in the draft where everything is made up and the points don’t matter.
