We all know everyone loves the shiny new(ish) thing called the smartphone. We love having our Facebook and Twitter at our fingertips, not to mention emails, Google and the tons of apps available to smartphone users.

MetroPCS – A relatively cheap pay as you go service offers Android devices for $99. They’re getting the Samsung Forte: an LTE device running Android 2.2.1. I know most of the market doesn’t consider the unwashed contract-less horde when talking about hip new cell phones, but maybe it’s time they do.

For everyone out there who has an iPhone, there’s someone with credit so bad they won’t be allowed to get one. They’re stuck with old, washed out tech, and that simply isn’t fair.
