We don’t usually do little blurbs, but in this case we just wanted to congratulate Neil DeGrasse Tyson, a man making nerd cool for making the Times list. These Twitter lists are getting more and more attention these days from the Old Media vanguards. Time just published it’s list of 140 Twitter Feeds to follow and I’m happy relieved to see Neil DeGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson) make the list. In the big scheme of things, this is kind of silly, we’re acting like he just won a Nobel prize, but it’s important that more brains get noted for the cool factor so that having a brain becomes cool. Haven’t we all gotten tired of vacuous icons?
Now if only we could make Time list Science and Education closer to the top.
