Sony Ericsson Xperia Play to come to AT&T or T-Mobile?

At the unveiling of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play at Mobile World Congress earlier this week, it was made quite clear that the Android-powered PlayStation-certified phone would  be hitting the U.S. airwaves on Verizon. It was also no secret that the phone packed the ability to work on both CDMA and GSM networks around the world. Initially it was thought that this was to allow consumers to take their phone anywhere with them and get their game and text on whether they are in California or Belgium, but Sony Ericsson CTO Jan Uddenfeldt revealed in an interview with FierceWireless.com that the Play was not exclusive to Verizon in the States, like the iPhone was to AT&T. He hinted that either AT&T or T-Mobile could possibly launch the phone as well. The Xperia Play is set to hit Verizon this spring so the possibility for a third quarter launch on AT&T or T-Mobile is defubuteky quite possible.
