MWC 2011: RIM PlayBook getting full 4G capabilities later this year

If WiMax isn’t your cup of tea but you really wanted RIM’s first tablet, the Blackberry PlayBook, then fear not as RIM announced today that it will be offering an LTE and an HSPA+ version of in the second half of 2011 to compliment the already announced WiFi and WiMax models. The 4G capabilities of each tablet are in addition to built in WiFi so expect to see PlayBook availability on all major carriers by the end of the year with the WiFi-only and WiFi + WiMax versions hitting the streets by March or April.
