Max Payne Mobile

In gearing up for the big Max Payne 3 launch set for later this year, Rockstar just announced the release date for Max Payne Mobile for both iOS and Android.

Max Payne Mobile promises the full PC game experience optimized for touch controls for Apple’s iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Max Payne Mobile will feature updated graphics, high-res textures and support for Rockstars Social Club. We’ve confirmed that MPM will be supported on the following devices:

  • iPad 1, 2 and the new iPad
  • iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPhone 4S
  • and the 4th generation iPod Touch (camera)

MPM will be coming to iOS on April 12th and Android on April 26th, no word on officially supported Android devices yet. Check below for some screenshots of the soon to be released Max Payne Mobile.

  1. I only played the first Max Payne. Did any of the sequels side trip into the paranormal like the first one did? 

    1. It’s been a while, but if I recall correctly Max Payne 2 focused more on the gritty-noir storytelling and didn’t go into the side trip.

         It took a weird metaphysical turn about a third of the way into the game when you were tasked with hunting down some odd preacher in an old church attic.
