New year, same old resolutions? If losing weight or being more active is on your resolutions list this CES seems to be the one for you. So far it seems (at least based on what most sites and reporters are saying) that fitness gear is the big item of this year’s show; so it goes without saying that Fitbit would be showing off one of the better polished fitness devices at this year’s show. The Fitbit Flex brings a lot of the cool features of the Fitbit One shrunken down, waterproofed, and wearable to truly become a part of your life.
Fitness trackers are great, provided they’re able to disappear into your daily life; the latest addition to the Fitbit family promises to do just that while still offering the same features that you’d expect from its larger sibling. The Fitbit Flex allows for seamless connectivity between the tracker and your iPhone or Mac/PC, and eventually, your Android phone (the Samsung GS3 and Note 2 have been confirmed though not yet available as of this writing). Using Bluetooth 4.0, the Fitbit Flex will allow you to set, track, and sync your goals and stats easy and painlessly.
Though it may do very not make reaching your goals easier, it can make them more enjoyable and little easier to keep track of. Look for the Fitbit Flex this Spring for about $100. Hit up their site for more info on the final release date.
