The Best Camera is the One You Have With You

via The Camera That Is With You

It’s a saying that’s been around since point-and-shoots existed: “The best camera is the one you have with you.” And it’s pretty accurate. It’s really hard to show off the awesome stuff that happens every day without a camera. SLR snobs argue against cell phone cameras, for the purity of the art, but without smaller cameras, we’d never see the amazing shots brought to us by blogs like The Camera That Is With You.

The blog was started by a fellow ‘noiser, Tyler and his room mate Gabriel for the purpose of shooting one picture a day (each) and posting it. Their inspiration comes from famed photographer Ansel Adams, who said “You don’t take a photograph you make it.” They aim to show that good photography lies less on the equipment and more on the eye behind the lens. Check out their blog at the link above, and get out there and take your own photos!
