For the budget conscious or those that absolutely must have candy-paint on everything, PDP announced their new line of Rock Candy controllers for Playstation 3, XBOX 360, and Nintendo’s Wii. The Rock Candy line with come in three, very bright colors and a small price to match – ranging from $12.99-$24.99.
Some caveats here, the XBox and PS3 controllers are wired so you’ll be tether to your console but it’s expected for a budget peripheral. The Wii controller is Motion Plus compatible so you’re looking at a small savings and a distinctly different color option. Sure, this isn’t the controller for the hardcore set, but if you’ve got kids and don’t want to drop $50+ on a peripheral, these seem to be the controller for you.
