Ever since its announcement, we’ve all been excited about iOS 5. When I say “we” I mean me, and maybe some other people, but I haven’t been able to verify that. Anyway, if you want your iOS 5 right now, you’ve got it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

First, let me say, this is a “AT YOUR OWN RISK<\/em>” project. There have been reports of phones getting bricked, although I’m sure you’d be able to recover it so it’s not that serious, suffice it to say, BACK UP YOUR PHONE FIRST!!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ok now that you have BACKED UP YOUR PHONE<\/strong><\/em><\/span>, let’s move on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, you’re going to need iTunes 10.5.whatever beta. Yes, it’s still in beta, but the install will not work without it, so just shut up about it already.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
