PC maker Lenovo apparently plans on selling its LePad tablets to le world in June though it intends to first launch in China at the end of March, which means we’ll have to wait. Le sigh. The LePad was unveiled in January at CES 2011 and includes a 10.1-inch screen running Android 2.2 and a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The expected price as announced during its unveiling was between $399 and $449.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lenovo is just another of the large PC makers (fourth largest) jumping into the increasingly crowded tablet market but has the advantage of being the largest player in China, the fastest growing market segment in the world. Despite its pedigree as a PC manufacturer it has recently increasingly targeted the tablet and smartphone markets and recently established a new business unit focused on developing them.
